306: Dawn is a music theatre work created by Oliver Emanuel and Gareth Williams to explore the stories of the 306 British soldiers who were executed for cowardice in World War 1. The work was premiered in a barn in Perthshire in May 2016, by the National Theatre of Scotland, in partnership with 14-18 Now, Horse Cross Theatre and Red Note Ensemble.
Performed live by the Red Note Ensemble, the songs explore the vulnerability and devastation of the battlefields, alongside the inner struggles of the men.
